A Little bit about Sineen:
Currently residing in Belgium, Sineen received her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy in 2013 from University of Alberta, Canada. She has been working in the field of occupational therapy since. Sineen has international experience from Canada and Jordan where she worked with children with severe developmental disabilities, such as, but not limited to, autism, seizures, cortical visual impairments, sensory processing disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, genetic disorders, global developmental delays, delayed oral motor muscle development to list a few. In her role as an occupational therapist, Sineen focused on areas like feeding, dressing, fine motor skills, sleep, toileting, sensory regulation, school readiness, play skills, social emotional development/behavior to mention a few. Sineen can also guide new parents on how to interact and play with their child in a way that ensures that they meet their developmental milestones. Sineen is a strong believer in the power of early intervention and have seen many rewarding outcomes because of it.

Topic: Creating Successful Mealtimes
Description: How to set-up a successful mealtime and raise an adventurous eater. What is the ideal environment to support the child to eat and explore new foods. What is my role as a parent and what is the role of my child? Force feeding vs. following the child’s lead? How to help my child sit longer at the table? Is the use of distractions recommended to ensure my child eats enough? How can I expose my child to a variety of foods in a successful way?

Topic: Implementing a Toileting Routine – “How to Start”
Description: In this workshop we will address how to create a toilet training plan that works for you and your child and how to start implementing it. Learn the different ways to toilet train your child. How to teach your child to use the toilet successfully and efficiently. How to achieve both day and nighttime continence. Ways to teach your child to wipe themselves. Leave with hands-on resources and visuals that will support you in creating and implementing a toileting plan.

Topic: Picky Eating! Understanding and Helping Your Picky Eater
Description: Do you have a child that refuses to eat a variety of foods? In this workshop you will learn the difference between a ‘picky eater’ and a ‘problem feeder’. Learn the red flags and the top myths related to feeding. Discover and understand the reasons why your child refuses to eat and what you can do to address those.
